Cerro Studio is a luxury interior design firm based in Santa Barbara, California. We design homes that feel as though they have always been here — rooted in the landscape, shaped by the light, built with the materials of this place.
Our work spans the Central Coast, from Montecito estates and Hope Ranch compounds to Santa Ynez vineyard properties and Carpinteria beach houses. We offer full-service interior design, renovation guidance, landscape coordination, and wellness space programming.

Our Approach
Warm Minimalism
Clean, uncluttered spaces that breathe. Every object earns its place. But unlike cold minimalism, our spaces feel warm, tactile, and inviting — you want to curl up in them.
Heritage Craft
We source, commission, and celebrate handmade work. Wrought iron from SB Forge. Handmade tile from Fez. Custom millwork with visible joinery. Our interiors feel crafted, not specified.
Indoor-Outdoor Seamlessness
In Santa Barbara, the boundary between inside and outside should dissolve. We design from the garden inward and from the living room outward simultaneously.
Collected Over Time
Our homes look as though they were assembled over decades, not months. We mix periods, cultures, and provenances — a 1920s fireplace, a 1970s Italian lamp, and a custom walnut table, all in conversation.
Wellness Integration
Health and sensory well-being are designed into every space. Circadian lighting. Non-toxic materials. Air and water purification. Contrast therapy rooms. Not as add-ons, but as fundamentals.
