Manage the studio's day-to-day books, AP/AR, and monthly close in partnership with our Operations Manager and fractional controller.

About the role
A fractional role for an experienced bookkeeper who enjoys the rhythm of a well-run creative business. You will close our books monthly, manage AP/AR, run payroll in Gusto, and keep our project accounting in Studio Designer in sync with QuickBooks.
What you’ll do
- Monthly close in QuickBooks Online
- AP/AR management and vendor payments
- Payroll processing via Gusto
- Reconcile Studio Designer project accounting to QuickBooks monthly
- Support tax preparation with our CPA at year-end
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally at a creative or professional services firm
- QuickBooks Online certified or equivalent proficiency
- Experience with payroll processing (Gusto, Rippling, or similar)
- Discretion, accuracy, and strong written communication
Nice to have
- Prior experience with Studio Designer or design-firm project accounting
- CPA or bookkeeping certification
