About the role
FF&E is where beautiful projects either land on schedule or quietly fall apart. Our FF&E Procurement Coordinator owns the full lifecycle of furniture, fixtures, and equipment across the studio — from spec through install. You will work directly with designers, vendors, receivers, and installers to make sure every piece arrives correct, on time, and where it belongs.
What you’ll do
- Issue and track purchase orders across all active projects using Studio Designer
- Manage vendor communications: payment terms, lead times, ship notices, COM yardage
- Coordinate with the receiver on inbound shipments, inspections, and damage claims
- Maintain accurate project budgets and client approvals for all FF&E purchases
- Track custom orders — workrooms, custom furniture, millwork, specialty lighting
- Build and execute install logistics: truck schedules, receiving, white-glove install crews
- Own the punch list on every install and drive items to closure
What we’re looking for
- 2 – 4 years of procurement, project coordination, or studio operations experience at a design firm
- Comfort with a high-volume, detail-heavy workflow
- Proficiency with Studio Designer or equivalent design-firm project accounting software
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; impeccable attention to detail
Nice to have
- Prior FF&E coordination experience at a residential interior design firm
- Familiarity with trade vendors across Los Angeles and the Central Coast
- Background in logistics, retail operations, or hospitality purchasing
A studio designed for the long run.
Competitive compensation, full health & wellness coverage, 401(k) with match, generous time off, a $2,500 annual learning stipend, and a beautiful place to work a block from the Pacific.
